About The Trade Show Guru

Who is the Trade Show Guru?

So who is the Trade Show Guru? Well, my name is Steve, and my day job is working for a leading online provider of trade show displays. I’ve been in the trade show industry for over a decade, and have been to more trade shows than I care to remember. I’ve seen the good, the bad, the ugly, and the just unexplainable. If you’d like to contact me, you can find my email address below.

Are you really a guru?

Am I a guru? Well, I guess that depends on how you define the word “am”. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to be moderately successful at trade show marketing, and that’s what I intend to write about and share in this blog. Now, if you want to be extremely, wildly successful at trade show marketing or any other kind of marketing, that takes more than the free advice from a guru. That takes paid advice from a genius, and I’m no genius. It also requires what I call marketing “secret sauce”, which is above and beyond the scope of this blog.

But if you’re OK with being moderately successful, if you’re willing to use basic marketing, common sense, and work hard, if you want to know more about trade show displays, trade show booths, trade show giveaways, other trade show products (including display booths and booth displays), trade show promotion, trade show display design, green trade show displays, trade show staffing, trade show planning, and just about anything related to trade shows (including a few “trade show secrets”), and if you don’t mind run-on sentences and the occasional more-often-than-not, off-topic random post, then sit back, relax, keep reading, and prepare to be “gurufied”.
