hi JD, I agree with the coma thing. Common Sense seems to occasionally make a comeback, but then slips away…
Don’t spend too much time asking your brother since I made up the term “trade show kinsella” (a guru original!)… but it should make sense when I reveal its meaning in a future post. Will (above) is on the right track about its meaning…

I think Common Sense is in a coma. Still here, but not really doing any good. Every now and then you sense its presence, but before you know it, it’s gone.

I’ll have to ask my brother about a trade show kinsella. He’s the editor of a trade publication and attends a lot of trade shows.

I don’t think Common Sense is dead yet, but he’s on life support and his evil twin brother Greed has his hand on the plug that powers the respirator. Not a day goes by that there isn’t a news item that illustrates how close to death he is. Take for example, the current news story about the cop who stopped the ambulance and put the EMT in a choke hold when the EMT tried to explain they were transporting a patient.

Kinsella, William, of Shoeless Joe fame? What does he have to do with trade shoes, I mean shows?

Then again, what would I know. I have never been to a trade show.
