My friend had a huge "car phone" that plugged into his cigarette lighter for power. But I didn't get a cell phone until they were much closer to today's size... I guess I'm just not "cutting edge". Yeh, and I remember when I could eat whatever I wanted to and not worry about gaining weight. Oh, how I miss my metabolism. Where did it go? I think my kids took it! (Which may not be here that much longer.) The old phones are all the rage with young teens now. I remember party lines. If it rang twice it was for the neighbors across the field, three times, for the next closest neighbors a mile down the road. I remember when my first cell phone was bigger than my smallest laptop is now. I remember when I could eat all I wanted to all day long and never even thought about gaining a pound.
